The Connection Error Dialog

When searching an online database, if there is a problem with the database, the search terms, or the connection file, EndNote presents an error message describing the source of the problem. The connection error dialog displays the original Z39.50 error message, if available, EndNote’s translated version of that error, and any other message being sent directly from the server. You can find details of the communication between EndNote and the server in the Connection Status window (select Show Connection Status from the Tools menu), or in the connection log.
